The Praise House Project is honored to have worked with SCORE at Georgia Tech for the past four years to host summer interns. We love our interns!
This past year, we were grateful to welcome students from Georgia Tech, Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Agnes Scott College. Our interns bring administrative support, curiosity, and their own passion for historic preservation and storytelling to the work of the Praise House Project.
We ended our summer with an incredible journey through the Gullah Geechee Corridor. We stayed at the Penn Center, visited Mitchelville, one of the first self-governed communities of formerly enslaved people in the United States, and walked along the Savannah River while learning about the history and cultural legacy of the region.
We are deeply grateful to our partners and supporters who make these experiences possible.
